How we pick
What every DealRig guide is based on, and what it isn't.
Prices: read, dated, sourced
Every price is read by hand from the retailer's own product page, then shown with the retailer name and the date it was checked. Search-engine snippets and third-party feeds are never used because they are often out of date. If we cannot read a price on the retailer page, we write "Price to be checked" rather than guess.
We don't show "was" prices or percentage discounts unless the retailer's own page states them. We don't show Amazon prices, because Amazon only permits them through its official tools.
No hands-on testing
We have not tested these products hands-on. Recommendations are based on manufacturer specifications, retailer listings, published standards (for example PSU efficiency certification and connector standards) and well-documented reliability factors such as warranty length, connector type and serviceability.
Price history
Price history appears only once we have recorded real, dated checks. We never estimate, interpolate or back-fill a chart.
Independence
Retailer links may become affiliate links, marked with an Ad tag. Commission never changes a pick, and no brand can pay for coverage. See our affiliate disclosure.
